FLOWERS CONSORTIUM

The main goal of the FLOWERS consortium is to work together on Synthetic Biology (SynBio) projects in the United Kingdom. The first project, funded by the Engineering and Physical Research Council, is aimed at developing integrated platform technology and an infrastructure for SynBio, which will be used as part of a systematic design process to produce biological parts, devices and systems with a range of applications.

The FLOWERS consortium brings together of 5 British universities.
